Gran Canaria .
November 5th & 7th 2004
On the 5th November we travelled from Birmingham,
England to Gran Canarias to perform
at the last WOMAD festival of 2004. We checked
into the hotel and took a stroll round the
town and venue. On Friday evening we performed
our set to a huge and appreciative crowd who
partied to the sounds of the band for the
whole of our session.
Sunday evening we performed for the Grande
Finale event. The Reggae Revolution performed
"Welcome to the Reggae Revolution" one
of their songs followed by Apache Indian leading
the crowds and performers with one of the late
great Bob Marley classics "One
Love".
The atmosphere was electric. A cracking finish
to a great festival. continue
